"I got my first tattoo, memorializing my husband of over 30 years. Thank you to Jimmy for making this experience as easy as possible. I am not going to lie, it hurt in some areas, but overall, it was nothing like I had imagined. In 2012, my husband was diagnosed with a very rare type of Leukemia. He went into remission, but then in 2017, he had the first of many surgeries for Stage IV Colon Cancer, then a recurrence of the Leukemia in 2019!! He battled both, defeating many odds including that the prognosis for Stage IV Colon Cancer is only 14.3% of patients live to see five years. He surpassed that to over six years!! Unfortunately, he lost his fight on October 23, 2023. While he was alive, we often talked about getting tattoos with the ribbons of both; orange for Leukemia and blue for Colon Cancer. I found the butterfly as a screen print online and my husband liked it for me. He was just going to get the intertwined ribbon with HOPE under it. I sent the 2D picture through Sacred Daggers' DM and set up to go this afternoon. By the time I got there, Jimmy had already worked on some renderings, we just had to get it a little smaller for where I wanted it in my shoulder blade. I truly wasn't expecting to be lying on my belly, getting my first tattoo this afternoon. I figured I would set an appointment to come back, but I felt super comfortable with the young lady at the desk, Jimmy and the vibe of the business. It was super clean throughout, and each of the artist's stations were extremely clean and sanitary!! I wouldn't have expected anything else, but I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my expectations!!! I would highly recommend this business and of course Jimmy who did a wonderful job, not only on the tattoo, but also making me feel comfortable. He constantly checked to make sure I was okay, especially since it was my first. He made sure my water cup was close by and he let me chat the whole time which helped take my mind of the tattoo and the time. Thank you!!! Katrina Klingensmith"

"Dude didn’t tell me he was an apprentice until after we started, which was really weird to me since we talked a few days before. After it was done he charged me $40 more than initially agreed upon. I didn’t wanna be a jerk and haggle an artist, so I paid em. Few weeks later I went to get it touched up and he told me that they don’t do free touch ups? Even after I explained that he never told me about his apprenticeship prior, and up charged me. I was given the offer to go in and get another tattoo and they’d touch the first ones up for free. Yikes. I really wanted to like this place and was planning on getting more done, but dude killed that idea. 2 stars because the other staff were cool and the place is pretty looking."

"I'm SO excited to have finally found a shop in VA beach to call home after 8 years of being tattooed out west. Mike is an incredible and unique artist, super fun to talk to (thank god since I was there from 10-530!) and a brilliant and motivated leader/entrepreneur. The shop has a wide and diverse range of styles and designs with some uniquely talented and friendly artists. The shop environment was super fun and very clean and organized. Highly recommend and wouldn't go anywhere else in VB. I hear they're organizing an insanely cool tattoo expo and can't wait to attend! I'll add images once my tattoo has healed."
