Boulevard Stop Mart - Krispy Krunchy Chicken

"It's a Mom and Pop, One Stop Drop for me. I ultimately go for the Krispy Krunchy food items however always find myself like a kid in a candy store type feeling. The chicken is life changing and the biscuits take me back to the 80's when life/food was really good. Take (another chicken spot's puff(shall not be named) and make it into a biscuit!! Hott...they are the game changer and all your food is made fresh to order too. Swing by, you won't forget it!!"

"Chicken is neither Krispy or crunchy. The "Cajun" seasoning is just salt and pepper. The jambalaya is just mushy rice. It doesn't have any meat or flavor."

"What is the DEAL with the cook??? Lol! The public raves about the chicken meals BUT the customer service is on 00000. Perhaps the attitude is the added ingredient that gives a nice 'kick' to the chicken. I am torn between great crispy fried chicken for lunch and feeling mugged at the same time. Yikes!"

"I was a frequent goer there because I loved the chicken and wedge combo. On a Tuesday close to their closing time, I went because I had a craving for their food. The cook asked me to talk to the cashier for my order. I asked for a breast and wedge order. The cook yelled, “Does it look like there’s breasts here?” but in a very rude and disrespectful manner. I went back and checked him letting him know that it was a mistake not realizing there wasn’t any there, but he needed to watch his tone. He preceded to ignore what I was saying, being obnoxious about it. The cashier was very gracious, asking me what I wanted, but I decided to get my money back because customer service like that cook gave should not be rewarded under any circumstance. I will always like the brand, but I won’t frequent this branch again because there was no reason for him to be so snarky like he was. People need to keep in mind that if a place is going to be great, especially one that sells food, the cook has to be cordial to its customers as well or else they will lose business. The food will always be great, but that service was beyond unacceptable."

"This was my first visit, after reading the reviews I was curious. Yes the store cleanliness was accurate, the employees were courteous. The chicken and fixings were freshly cooked. The chicken was a little salty (if the cook would eliminate the salt) the chicken would be simply delicious. The batter is scrumptious! I will return to try the other fixings very soon. The prices are reasonable!"
