Food Lion

"I don’t think Food Lion brand can get much better except for their supply in baby formula. Some stores have an abundance, some don’t, and it depends on the area in which you live in. WIC items are clearly marked at some locations. Other locations you might have to guess a bit. Very well organized stores. Bathrooms are usually wet from toilet to floor because of cleaning and sanitizing. Has a pretty good variety."

"I recently visited with a legally blind & deaf patient. She sees shadows only, hears zero maybe 10%with hearing aids. Every aisle we went down was bombarded with boxes. So dangerous for a person with sight never the less blind. It's important for her to go shopping to help her maintain her independence. Just be considerate of the elderly & impaired shoppers. It's a lovely store, friendly employees & clean."

"I go to many Food Lions. I'm not sure which one I am reviewing because Google has not provide that information in the description but I think Food Lions in general l, have reasonably priced, in comparison to other grocery stores. There staff, for the most part, are friendly and helpful. I would say my major or only complaint is the chitty chatting about personal stuff between employees that should not be done at the register. I'm not saying that the tellers should not speak to each other. They just need to be trained in what is inappropriate to discuss while working. A little light hardy conversation can be funny and inviting. It's just when they can't stop talking to do what they are getting paid to do. That bothers me. Many times have I waited to ask where something is or stood at the register with groceries on the conveyor belt while staff are talking about school or their parents or their kids. It's rude. I'm not saying that the store I want reviewing did that since I'm not sure which one I am reviewing. Other than that. I like Food Lions."

"Best Food lion around. I've been going to this Food Lion for almost 6 years & most of the employees are like family. I walk in & they always say Hello. Some of the employees Sing & dance around ,making my day so much better! It's awesome walking into your local Grocery store & feeling like family. Always a happy, fun environment!!!"

"Ghetto. There’s no other word to describe it. The entrance is disgusting, no carts at the entrance, employees are just standing around. A lot of the produce was right at the point of being spoiled. Cashiers move slowly. Just an all around bad store. And the sad part is that’s it’s been like that since I was a kid."
