"i dont mean to be all karen about this, but i didn't pay over $125 to have dead flowers delivered to my mother. i waited until after mother's day to avoid the rush and ensure she didn't just get whatever flowers were left: they still showed up late at night more than a day after the scheduled delivery, with flowers looking like lettuce that had been left in the car all day. the fancy chocolates that are $20+ a box weren't delivered, the 'card' was the invoice ripped in half. i don't mind overpaying to mark the occasional special occasion, especially to support a local business, but this turned a nice gesture into almost an insult. this is from a white-glove service that's well-reviewed and just a few turns from my house. when i queried the site dave replied about 'good help being hard to find' (must suck for employees to know management will happily throw you under the bus) and promised a personally supervised delivery, which never came. which is why i asked for the order to be cancelled, and refunded, because even if the delivery finally came and was flawless, the gesture was well ruined. i asked thrice for a refund and after no replies, contacted my bank. the disputed charge cleared last week which is why i feel more than free to post this review advising that you avoid this business"
