"Everyone there is so nice . No waiting in the waiting room, they call you right back fantastic!"
"After being treated like garbage by Dr Gu bc I had a hard time understanding his accent, and bc I did NOT want the pain pills that he kept pushing at me, National Spine has sent my bill to collections. despite the lien that I filled out at my appointment because National Spine was treating on attorneys assignment. Despite the many letters my attorney sent to National Spine letting them know that the debt would be paid, but it would have to wait until the settlement paid out, they still sent my bill to collections, attempting to ruin my credit. This medical office is unprofessional and the lobby is filled with what looks like obvious pain pill addicts. I am reporting this office to the BBB and the Virginia Department of Health Professionals for the way Dr Gu treated me and the way billing is handling my account. I have half a mind to seek attorney counsel as well."
"If anyone is in need of pain management, I strongly recommend Dr Gu at National Spine and Pain Centers. Dr Gu is at West Creek off Broad Street at Wilkes Ridge Parkway office."
"I have been in pain management for several year's due a blown out lower back and knees from a motorcycle crash.. I have received every injection there is offered to the lower back and nothing has lasted for more then two week at best and very paiful. My first visit with Dr. Gu was an evaluation. I exspained to Dr. Gu the many back injections I had received in the past didn't last and I was not interested. I had a follow up appointment with my back surgeon whom stated back injections were not advised. I returned to Dr Gu for my second visit and advised Dr. Gu of my surgons opinion to the injections. Dr Gu went forward with a nerve test and requested that I teturn with a current MRI on my next visit so he may go forward with the six injections in my lower back. I feel as though Dr Gu is not listening to me or taking into account that injections do not work for me or my surgons recommendation. I feel that the injections are a money maker at $800 per set of 2 not to mention that there is an expensive co pay involved. I will not be returning to his office for treatment. I do feel that Dr Gu is a good Dr, but did not listen to me."
"First visit has left a very poor taste for this practice. The receptionist was rude and didn’t even know how to do her job. There was a slide asking me to agree to let my information be used for affiliates. I don’t want that and didn’t want sign that screen. It wouldn’t let me proceed without signing that slide. Of course I can’t be seen if I can’t get past that screen. When I asked for help she was short with me and told me no one had ever refused to sign that screen. I told her I read it and didn’t agree. I figured a way to get around it, no thanks to her rudeness. I then listened to her complain about how much work she had. I really didn’t need to hear all of that. So, I went to get an appointment for shots that were recommended and was given is a month away. I am in pain, that’s why I’m there. It took several weeks to get in, now wait a month to get the shots. Are you kidding me? I really don’t trust front office staff and wonder if I made the right choice."
