"They rescheduled our first appointment, then didn't show up for our second, and nobody answered the phone for 4 hours - I had to drive into town & flag down one of their drivers. Their installer comes that afternoon & starts working with no apology. He says his vacuum is broken & he doesn't have the right nails, so he leaves it to us to finish the transition strips & clean up the scraps. Just unprofessional at every level. I'm giving them two stars instead of one because the carpet at least looks good"

"Very rude to my mother. Refused to sell or even let her look at t-molding because she had bought laminate flooring from Lowe's. Told her to go back to Lowe's. So much for trying use a local business. Take the advice of Doug's Carpet House and go to Lowe's, where the employees are friendly and willing to help."

"My sister about a year ago got kitchen floor from them and was to have them install it. They were set up to come install it. She couldn't get off work so I went to here house to be there while they installed it. About 9 in the the morning they hadn't arrived so i called. They said they were going to check and see where they were and would call me back. At 10 i called again and they said they were not going to be there today it wasn't on their schedule. So there was my morning shot. Just yesterday (12/16/13) my sister is having to have the floor replaced again by these people because of a mishap with Lowes delivering a refrigator and tearing the floor. My sister hear the guy at the store in Culpeper schedule the installment. She took off work yesterday to have the floor installed. Once again they were a no show. She called and they weren't very nice. She said I hope you don't treat all your customers this way. Their response was unfortunately not. What is that. It shoudl have been fortunately not. Then the guy said it wasn't scheduled she corrected him by saying I heard you schecule it then he ended up agreeing with her. So they want to come today. She can't take off again. She is rearranging things at work so she can work at home. This place sucks!!!! What kind of satifaction will she receive for this mess up and a day off work for nothing. She will receive nothing!!!!! Don't visit this place."

"We needed a stretch of carpet in our front rooms repaired, and called here to see if he could help us. He could, and stopped by that afternoon. The pricing was excellent, and he successfully repaired the carpet so you can't tell there were any frayed edges that had come loose. If we have any more carpet issues, we will be calling here."
