Green Run Elementary School

"This year was the worst year for my child. My child keeps getting sent to the office. Thankfully my child tells me about it but I never receive any type of notice about it. When it is the assistant principle involved. The main principle will call. The main principle is the only reason my children are still attending this school. My child’s teacher has effected his self esteem and his perspective on the school system. They are suppose to be all about the B’s however I feel they are all about protecting the teachers EVEN WHEN THEY ARE WRONG. My child is no longer interested in this school simply because of the relationship between him and his teacher. I no longer trust his teacher. She will never teacher another one of my children, my family members children, my friends children, or my clients children. The assistant principal seems friendly. However the moment he has an issue with your child. You will see his true colors. I no longer trust the school due to my most recent issue. The assistant principal and the teacher both lied to me. The lie was so funny because I know my children down to his blood type. My child is not a bully however his teacher is. If you are willing to lie on a child this long and get caught on ever occasion...why haven’t you been fired. Or why not remove my child from her class. All in all beware of some of the teachers and assistant principal they work together to break your children. My kid is counting down the months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds that he will not have to deal with his teacher again. I AM NOT JOKING ITS ON HIS CALENDAR AND CELLPHONE. It is crazy because my husband and I worked hard to move to this area. I truly think I failed my kid and should of stayed in PORTSMOUTH!!"

"Kid comes home in tears due to classmates, and the school's solution was to tell me she needs counselling. No one has been, to my knowledge, has been punished for the harassment she experiences everyday. Victim blaming at its best, no wonder the kid started celebrating our move to Norfolk, now she won't have to see any of her classmates ever again. Dear god, she wept for days when we left Portsmouth. Portsmouth!"
