Village Academy is a dynamic K-9 school located at 619 West 35th Street in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. Village Academy is an Afrikan-centered private school offering a multi-disciplinary, hands-on curriculum from Kindergarten through 9th grade. We focus on core subjects while placing Afrikan-descended children at the center of the learning experience to discover their true heritage and potential. Our goal is to create innovative, analytical, inventive leaders through critical thinking and problem-solving essentials.

In addition to core subjects, we offer Pre-Med and Pre-Law courses, Cultural Linguistics classes, Afrikan Drum and Dance, Computer Coding, Business Planning/Entrepreneurship, and Community Service through our Rites of Passage program. We aim to provide students with the necessary knowledge, resources, and skills to excel in today's ever-changing world.

Parents are encouraged to reserve a spot for their child at the beginning of the upcoming school year, as seats fill up quickly. Village Academy also offers a Homeschool Co-Op program and a virtual option through the Zoom platform for families seeking online education.
