"Founded by 10 teachers and not 1 notary inside the bank/credit union. When i asked about it, they said the notary was off today. When I asked what day would they return, I got the runaround and no date. Then an older female teller started yelling she used to be a notary, but not anymore, which did little to help my plight. Sorry excuse for a bank!! Black founded or otherwise. Terrible service altogether"

"This so called credit union failed me when I needed them the most in 2020. I couldn't work during the pandemic and they closed my account for an alleged negative balance of $69.00. They didn't even try to call me. So when unemployment deposited my money, this so called credit union sent it back to VEC. Years later and I'm still unable to get my unemployment money. Horrible service no understanding at all. It's supposed to be a "black" credit union. All they see is green. They care nothing about you."

"My card expired and I had to activate the new one sent. Tried card services and was told to contact member service which I did and the Lady I spoke with directed me on how to go about it which I did and was told it will be ready to use in 3hrs. After 3hrs tried paying stuff online and was told card details are invalid called again and spoke to Joseph who was new and passed me to the lady I spoke with earlier in the day. She left me on the phone holding on and clocked out without resolving the issue and no courtesy to say I can't fix it and I need to go home since it's 4.40pm call tomorrow."

Superintendent of Schools who shared how Heritage helped them when they first started as an educator, & opened up financial opportunities to them. I have had the same business experience & would recommend to any educator or their family member. They are loan friendly - not fee heavy - which I like, and always open to my needs."
