"Please dont let telisha newman prepare your taxes. She is new and not professional. I file at this location every yr with my spouse. I normally let someone else file us however she insisted she could take us due her being the only tax prep there all week. She just wanted that money. No offense she felt intimidated that a man was requested over her. I just felt she was very unprofessional she also kept asking the same info and getting my info mixed with someone else. She needs to retake the class very unorganized. Never again. I will continue to file with the same person no matter the wait next time. Lesson learned not to mention we ended up owing the whole state tax when that has never happened ever."

"3 1/2 stars, rounded up. I've used Block online for years and trust their brand. I went in to the office this year for a special tax situation. The staff was friendly and took time to listen to what my concerns were. I waited for nearly an hour to be seen (granted, I was a walk-in; appointments were seen within 10 minutes of appointment time while I was there). Pricing was clearly displayed at the front reception area, but I didn't realize that a la cart pricing applied multiple times in some cases (ie $45 per child tax credit PER CHILD). And with my special situation, I feel like I had a better understanding of the form walking in than my tax professional did as we discussed it. Customer service was great, though, and I'd recommend this service to those with difficult claims. Glad to have that Block Peace of Mind! But for simpler returns, online is the way to go to save your hard earned money."
