One morning, an hour before I was to appear in court, his 'secretary' called me and informed me that she had contacted the court, notified them of the continuance request, and assured me 100% that I was not required to appear. I called the court to verify, but they informed I was still showing in the docket to be heard. To be on the safe side, I went, and boy am I glad I did. No one had contacted the court, at all. "My lawyer arrived to court late and very unprepared. They will not return your phone calls. I went to the office a couple of times and left a message, still no response. After the disrespectful and unprofessional court appearance from my lawyer (thankfully for me the prosecution continue the case). I wanted to continue the case, my lawyer advised me out of the blue to just plea guilty and get it over with it. After court, first thing Monday I decided to change lawyers. They told me I can't change lawyers, then gave me the run around for a month. They charged me for work they didn't do and charged me a couple of hundred more after I told them I was hiring another lawyer just to change lawyers. For Myers & Myers, it all about the money. They provided me with poor, unprofessional and disrespectful service. STAY AWAY!!!"
