"The Tailor Lady is gawd awful. She runs on her on schedule and the store allows it. She will place a clock on “will return at this time” sign. And not come back at the original time placed. I watched her come out and extend herself to another 15 mins. I get that this is the only one who tailors uniforms here but the managing the time and notifying customers accurately and precise on your work week matters. No one has time to find out she is on vacation or at lunch at random times when someone come into the store. Posted a week schedule online or in store on the doors so people will know. Or better yet since it is only one Tailor Create an appt calendar for pick up and drop offs. This service is ridiculous."

"This is only one of two places on the Navy Yard where I can buy a coke cola. Still a great place to shop and keep you comfortable at work. They closed at 5pm weekdays. So catch them before then."

"The grounds are maintained nicely and there are quite a few museums to visit. There is also a boardwalk and a pier you can run or walk down. You must have proper ID to get onto the base. The visitor center is very helpful."
