"This company was used to ship an exercise bike I bought on Amazon. On Amazon, I was given a date range for when the bike would arrive, and was told I'd get a phone call from the shipping company (ABF) to schedule a date. I never received a call, but then on 12/11 I got a letter by US Mail dated 12/4 stating they had my bike and if I didn't contact them for pickup by 12/5 they would charge me $55 a day for storage. The letter was downright rude and sounded like a predatory attempt at a money grab. I immediately called the company that sold the bike, who said I should have never received a letter like that. They called the shipping company, who claimed I provided an incorrect phone number. I ordered through Amazon, and the phone number and email address listed on my Amazon account were correct. (I never received anything from Amazon stating there was a problem with delivery. The tracking continued to say the package was in transit, even after it was delivered.) ABF did finally call and delivered the bike on 12/14. Then on 12/16 I received another rude letter dated 12/8 that said they were sending my bike to auction. Obviously they didn't, but I didn't appreciate the threats."

"One of ABF's driver's, Pat, just dropped off a rug (tracking number 086399013) Sounds simple but this was a 16 foot long, 200 lb rug and he had to park at the end of our 200 foot driveway. My wife and I had no idea how we were going to get this into our home. I instantly knew what type of person Pat was when I was walking up the drive and he smiled and waved to me. Without me even asking Pat, he moved the large rug down our drive to our home. I thought that would be it and I was extremely grateful, but then he even offered to help get it into our house. This was absolutely above and beyond for curbside delivery. In today's world, individuals like Pat are getting harder to find. Not only was he a blessing to us, you could not find a human being to better represent ABF. I enourage ABF to recognize Pat for the incredible person he is. This was a "not so simple" act of kindness."

"This is the worst shipping experience I've ever been a party to. Unfortunately this company was used by Amazon for a 300 lb order of mine. As of now my order is 3 days late, I've yet to receive a call back from the manager, shipping coordinator or driver. The first day they missed delivery they only said they knew it arrived in Manassas but didn't "make it onto the truck" everyone that has said they would call back and update me has failed to do so. I'm know this is a rant, but I seriously cannot express the lack of organizational, customer service, and basic shipping ability of this company. I will go to whatever lengths I can to avoid ever using this company again, and I advise you do the same."
