"We have two children who currently attend Cornerstone Christian School. Prior to having children, we knew we wanted to pursue Christian education instead of public school. I believe that is even more important now. When our oldest child was nearing school-age, we began searching, looking for the “right fit” with our family. One of the schools we requested information from was Cornerstone. It was a perfect fit! The values and philosophy of the school were the same as what we were teaching at home, which is very important for the healthy growth of our children! We went to the school for a visit and immediately knew it was the place for our family. We attended the Spring Musical that year and were amazed at the talent of the middle school students- confirming what we already knew- this is the place for us!! The school focuses on reaching the heart of the child. The school, home, and church all work together to raise the child with a good foundation, grounded in Biblical truth, ready to be a light for Christ within their families, community, and the world. The bible and worship are integrated throughout the academic program, which is itself a gold standard. The class sizes are small, so students get more individualized attention and families grow close. Students learn Spanish and cursive writing beginning in Kindergarten. Art and Music begin in Preschool. The music and theater programs are awesome, resulting in amazing talent that is showcased throughout the year. There are mission opportunities throughout. The 8th graders actually take a mission trip to Mexico, where they can share about the relationships they’ve developed with God and practice their Spanish! Oh, and I don’t think I mentioned sports! Students can be a part of team sports as early as Kindergarten. Currently, the school is PK-8 grade. Students graduate well prepared for high school, many with high school credits, and a love and heart for Christ. Aside from the school programs itself, there are the little things that we often don’t notice, but others do. It is a really good feeling as a parent, when strangers approach in stores & restaurants and comment on how well behaved and polite our children are- Or when family members comment the same on behavior and academic skills. We owe the foundation of the academic and the reinforcement of the behavioral skills to Cornerstone. I could go on and on about the programs, experiences, & relationships that we have seen and developed over the last 4 years at CCS. I am just so thankful that God led us to be a part of this wonderful school. I highly recommend Cornerstone Christian School to anyone looking for a solid Christian foundation and a challenging academic program for their children."

"My son has attended Cornerstone for the past four years. He thrives in the small classroom where he receives individual attention. Every year each student receives a Character Recognition Award. In an assembly, each teacher recognizes something special about each child and includes a Bible verse to reinforce this trait. My son is always so proud of his certificate. If ever there is peer conflict or behavioral issue, the staff handle it with love and get the heart of the matter by questioning WHY this issue occurred. By looking at the HEART, they hope to resolve the source of the issue, not just managing an individual incident. My son doesn't feel pressure to be "cool" by what he wears, says, or does. He's free to be himself and is glad there are no bullies at his school. He has peace (and so do I) and he is glad to go to school each day. The school challenges the students academically as well. My husband and I value Cornerstone helping us to guide him to become the young man that God created him to be so that he can have a strong foundation. We highly recommend it!"
