"My wife and I are very happy with this daycare. Our daughter, now 4 years old, has been here since she was 2. Janaki and her 2 assistants have a huge smile on their face every single day, in the morning and evening. They are so loving towards the children. Our daughter started reading at 3 and a half thanks to all the effort put in by these 3 caregivers. They work hard to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere for the children. We look forward to all the new things our daughter will learn next year. We would recommend this daycare time and time again."

"There are hardly the words to express how amazing Janaki and her team are! We are a military family who moved to the area and began searching for care for our youngest child and before and after school care for our two oldest children. A friend recommended Janaki's home child care to us. We visited three different traditional daycare centers before we met Janaki and the difference in the level of care and attention was obvious. Just walking into her house you notice her true love for children. The entire main level of her home is dedicated to child care. The front room (classroom) is set up for small group instruction and learning through play. Designated space for infant/toddler sleep and pre-school sleep. Additionally, outdoor play is easy with child friendly space in her backyard and covered sunroom for rainy days. Our youngest child started with Janaki when she was 3 years old and was reading and doing math well above her age level when she started Kindergarten 2 years later. Janaki not only taught her to read words, she works with kids to teach comprehension. Kids have writing assignments each day. However, Janaki and her team know kids learn best through play. Lots of free time and movie Fridays provide a perfect balance. I was looking for child care that provided a solid curriculum and still allowed my child to be a child. Happy Kids Child Care was exactly what I was looking for. She or one of her team would take and meet my other two children every day at the bus stop, rain or shine! She would help them with their homework and provide them with a snack so they were happy when I arrived to pick them all up. I must admit I was skeptical and a little worried when we discussed sending our children to at At-Home Child Care Center, but I know beyond a doubt we made the absolute best decision to have Janaki care for our kids. We still consider her a friend and a part of our family."

"Both of our kids have attended this daycare since they were 6 months old. The owner, Janaki, and the two long-term assistant teachers are like family to us now. The teachers have done a great job teaching the kids - about how to be a nice person and good friend, but also reading and simple math. My son, now in 3rd grade, went here until he started kindergarten, and he was more than prepared for school. My daughter will start kindergarten in the fall. Both of them will be able to read and do simple math by the time they start school. It was so nice to have them learn those important basics in a small group/individual setting, rather than initially in a large class. Janaki and her staff have taken great care of our kids, and I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone."

"Both of my children have attended daycare here since they were 3 months (ages 2 and 5). I am a teacher and many teachers currently have or have had their children attend daycare here because of the curriculum. My eldest will start Kindergarten this fall and she is already reading and writing ahead of grade-level (I'm a reading specialist, but this is Janaki's doing!). They do fractions, addition/subtraction, learn continents, planets, etc. However, the main reason I give this daycare five stars is because I was that new mom who didn't trust ANYONE to watch my daughter, but I always trusted Janaki. She loves the kids and the kids love her. She is like family to us."

"I had my son with Janaki for 5 years, she was recommended by my neighbor who had her 2 girls at Happy Kids for 5 years as well. Janaki runs a very clean, loving and supportive daycare. Over the years I watched my son gain confidence in his reading ability, interaction with other children and enjoy learning. Janaki puts each child’s safety and well being first . She is professional and loves what she does. In my opinion anyone who has had the honor of having their child at Happy Kids Daycare would agree that their child was prepared for kindergarten both academically and socially.
