"Update: I spoke with Micheal who responded to my review below and he assured me that there would be steps taken to turn this into a learning opportunity. I appreciate the care, concern, and willingness to make sure that future visits are more pleasant. The staff here were incredibly rude. My kids and I were here today and we were there for over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. One man was helping another woman so we were patiently waiting for space to ask for help- didn’t happen. A man walked in and he and her son were helped right away. Another man came out from back and asked if I needed anything as if I wasn’t standing in the middle of the store looking confused. He was also rather rude and jumped into a conversation between my son and I and ended up hurting his feelings. this is our first year in scouts and my son said he never wants to come here again because the people here in scout uniforms were so rude…way to model great behavior for a new scout. Oh, and also teach your male staff not to refer to our daughters as sweetie, it’s 2023. It’s weird."

"This scout shop is decent, however, the staff is not always responsive and sometimes lacks the knowledge on the most up-to-date information when it comes to changes to requirement and rules."

I'm impressed by not only their knowledge of the product but their experience using it for they all have been in The Scouting movement as a number of Eagle Scouts work there. How can that not impress! They had a great deal of respect from the returning to the movement after 51 years being away. They made very helpful suggestions got equipping my camping equipment in preparation for wood badge."

"You ever walk into a retail store, not get greeted, inquired or assisted until right before you were ready to leave? Yup, that's what happened to my family and I today. The only reasons we left were because we didn't get any help and the prices were 20-25% higher in store rather than online. This wasn't a good experience as our first time in the store so we left without purchase or a salutations from the guys working but they seemed so kind and helpful to everyone else."
