"They fixed my son's bike! I'm so happy to still find people that take pride in their work."
"I had brought my electric bike for a tire change because the tire had lost its grip and while removing the wheel they were pretty reckless and some pieces came off. luckily we saw a washer and he put it back on but I guess that was not the only piece that fell because the motor sounded funny when testing it out, I thought it was just because of the new tire but 2 short rides later the entire motor gets locked up and the gears and shafts inside were all broken and the motor has to be replaced, they said they didn’t have anything to do with it. I don’t know whether it was them but the motor is built to last 10 years and 2 rides later it broke and they said they had nothing to do with it despite pieces literally falling off of the motor hub when he was replacing the tire. I recommend the A-1 cycling in Herndon"
"Had these wheels custom built at A1 for as much as the bike cost, now I believe I’m missing a nut that would secure the bolt to the forks and I noticed the wheel wobbling. I was able to tighten it however I called the store to inquire and was asked to send an email, which I did with the photos. The response is that the bolt is not needed and that the bolt is only there if I wanted to put finders on the bike. I looked up the “fenders” and well that’s not true. I use to hold A1 in high regard but don’t like being lied to or brushed off. Thanks for nothing I’ll go spend my money elsewhere from now on. The cost to have these wheels built was $1300.00 I’ve purchased well over 5k in bikes and accessories from this place and I’m not happy at all. Everyone is so helpful to take your money in today’s world but when it’s time to put in a little extra work they run, duck and hide as when I call the store now Ben won’t pick up the phone. Oh well your loss!"
"This is the best bike shop, period. I bought a new bike here for myself a few years back and have been getting great service since. The entire staff is knowledgable and friendly and easy going. This past week, I put two new bikes together for my kids, one of the bikes had issues out of the box, I took it to A-1 and Ben and John stayed after hours on a Saturday night to fix it and make sure my kid had a great birthday the next day. I will be forever grateful for their professionalism and compassion."
"This place is a superior to any bike shop. Got great deals and assistance on the floor when we first purchased our bikes. Any type of adjustments were done as soon as possible and sometimes on the spot if they didn't have a backlog. Have done a fantastic job educating my kids on how to buy a where to find great bike rides and how to maintain their bikes. Even built an emergency kit for my kid who does a lot of off-roading now which was totally unnecessary they went above and beyond. They are all great but Josh and Ben are always they're making things happen. You can't go wrong with this place"
