"I had one of worst customer-service experiences I have ever had at this location. The hairdresser, whose name I cannot recall, was rude for no apparent reason and seemed to hate her line of work. The haircut itself turned out fine, but I cannot recommend this location and will never return."
"Miss Lena is my favorite, and there are so many others at the NoMa Great Clips who are so nice and do such a great job. They keep me coming back, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing Lena , who is a true hair artist. Her passion and commitment comes through in her work. Thank you, Lena and the entire crew there for being so welcoming and doing such great work."
"I’ve been coming here for a year now. I’ve had some good haircuts here. But I have noticed that a few of the stylists have horrible customer service skills. Today, I checked in online and went to the salon. I sat down without thinking that I needed to finish my check in. Someone came in and finished their check in after me and were immediately sat down. So, I figured that I needed to complete my check in at the counter. When Sonya (she has been named as Lena in a few other reviews) came up with a customer that she was about to check out, I stood up and approached the counter. She made eye contact with me so I told her that I just needed to finish my check in. She immediately began to have an attitude and told me to wait for her to finish checking out the other customer. I simply wanted to let her know why I was approaching the counter. She then rudely asked me to take a sit so I told her that she didn’t have to be so harsh. She then called me a “big baby.” After that, she skipped my position in the line two times. I knew that she was skipping me because the check in counter on my phone showed me that I had a minute left to wait. Bonita ended up taking me and she did a very good job with my hair and she was very pleasant to talk to. I asked her for Sonya’s name to make sure I wasn’t going to name the wrong stylist. Overall, there are definitely some good stylists here. But I have noticed that a few of them have a horrible attitude to their customers. There is no situation where someone needs to call someone names when they are doing their job. I was just trying to clarify why I approached the counter. Sonya (Lena? She is pictured a different review from two months ago) should not be working in the service industry if she wants to treat people with a bad attitude and call them names."
"Surprisingly amazing. I have gotten several cuts at this location in DC and they can't be beat! Nina always does the freshest cuts and really takes her time to offer excellent service. She does beautiful fades and tapers. Before seeing her, I never knew I could get such amazing cuts at a Great Clips!"
