"This salon was a joke. She barely even brushed my hair, low quality hair products and they were on the floor. Not sure those hair tools were even clean. Nice lady, but this "salon" is not worth anyone's time. The wash and blow dry could have been done better by myself. But I try to support my community. Maybe she has better days with other clients."

"I came to this salon several years ago. I was attempting to grow my hair out while also going through a stressful divorce. The new proprietor was there at opening time, kind and considerate. I met incredibly accomplished (clients) women of color and conversed with them. I’m biracial but the ‘easy to manage hair’ gene skipped me by! I lived too far away to return as I was and still don’t frequent salons regularly. I left with my protective style and an offer of help from the owner due to my needing a cane at that time. I’ve been to ethnic hair salons where owners and stylists are rude, untimely and judgmental. I would attempt to be overly polite and grateful when I wanted to run. There’s nothing ‘ghetto’ here and any reviews older than three years don’t describe my experience at all. Happy 2023!"
