"She showed up late when she got there sat around for 30 mins doing absolutely nothing . I had thought we was waiting on someone else to do my hair it was so long. And she told me it was gonna be her. this lady stayed on the phone the entire time talking loud in my ear in her language. My head was already hurting from the braids but by her talking to much made it so much worst.worst experience don’t go there."

"I fell inlove with this place, and with the sweet kindness of the owner Alima. I got very thin edges due to extensive weave wearing , and decided to wear wigs instead to give my hair the time to grow back its edges, however I needed my own hair to be braided in cornrows. Just moved to Norfolk bout a week ago, and was dreading the fact that I had to find a salon that was going to do this on a monthly basis, and scared being exposed for others to see my edges, she made me feel at ease and comfortable, all my fears gone.. thank you Alima"

"I called in advance to make sure that they could do Passion twists and from there set my appointment. When I arrived I was waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes before my head was touched. When my stylist got there, she seemed as if she didn’t know what they were and was actually sick. I showed everyone in the shop my multiple pictures on what I expected and it wasn’t in the box style form as I requested. They kept assuring me it was okay even though I knew it wasn’t. I told the owner I needed it corrected so I came back 2 days later for her to fix it but only fixed the front and not all around. This process required me spending more money on hair. It looked better but I was not completely satisfied. It has just hit an entire week of me having this style and half of the twists have unraveled, fell out, and the ones that were in look very raggedy as if I’ve had them for over a month. I’ve gotten passion twists before that have held up for 6 weeks better than what these have. I asked for a refund and apparently that’s “not policy” and I didn’t see this policy or hear about it ever. I do not recommend."

"I’m very pleased with my box braids. They took just over 5 hours. The shop was clean and the lady who braided my hair (can’t remeber her name) was very sweet and professional. I’m very tender headed so she was extremely patient with me and braided so that I could experience less pain. There were two ladies on my head at once at one point and that was no problem. I asked her to leave my edges out and she did. They made this experience completely comfortable and I will come to her again!"

"This is my second time going to the shop. I got fishtail braids that I wasn't really pleased with. Giving the owner was really nice I said well maybe braids will be a little different. I go to get my hair braided show them a picture of some Havana twist into a bob braids they said they will do it they will just twist it differently. I said its fine I just want the style rather than the twist. My hair turned out so ugly the owner didn't even like it. 3 of my braids unravelled as soon a i got home! She told me to come back an she would do it over but as soon as I was calling her I wasn't a priority like she made it seem like i was gonna be. Nice lady just not trust worthy."
