"I’ve been to a lot of Ulta and this locations always have the most unhelpful staff. I hope management do some evaluation soon! Every time I go in here, many are standing around talking to other staff. Even today, I walked in, and the front door employee just stares at you with a terrible look. I’m not expecting a luxury service but at least seem like you are engaged at your job. Not all employees are this way, but a good chunk of them"

"I am in my 50s with little knowledge in makeup or skincare. This was my second time in to this store. 1st time was just before the holidays and I was greeted by a staff member similar in age as me. I wasn't sure what I was looking for other than a cleanser. She was very helpful. I purchased over $300 in skin care. Today I decided to try and look for a stick Blush I've been seeing on social media. There were lots of staff members there..all talking to each other and not a single one looked over as I walked my way in further through the store. After a few minutes of wandering and not finding the 1st lady that helped me a month ago.. I approached a staff member (looked to be in late 20s) just standing at a display stand. I told her what I was looking for and she proceeded to tell me how the store was laid out so I can help myself. In kind of an annoyed tone. So I walked out. Makeup is intimidating to me. I needed her help not direction on how to read brand names on the wall. Never going back"

"I wasn’t sure if I could do an exchange on my already open perfume bottle but this sweet lady picked up the phone yesterday and assured me I could do that! Luckily, she was the one who assisted me today in the store. Such a sweet, down to earth personality and even let me know about the coupons available. Her name was Hajarah!"

"A lot of cosmetics to choose from and with decent prices. I'm African American and even nowadays, at times it's harder to find makeup in stores that fits with my skintone (especially lipstick and eyeshadow for some reason). I really appreciate the fact that ulta beauty offers a selection of beauty products for darker skin tones, though I feel like it could still use some improvement as far as keeping those items in stock. The service has been so-so. When I used to go a while back, it was more consistently friendly service. It's been getting progressively worse over time...the staff has been getting colder and the last time I came into the store, one of the employees was staring at me and kept talking to her coworker without showing any kind of greeting. I also asked one of the staff members about a product I was looking for, and the response I got back was very stiff and cold. It might just be the particular cashiers I interact with, but in my experience, checkout seems to be pretty awkward and stiff. I get that customer service can be really difficult, especially when having to deal with rude customers at times, so I try to be friendly myself. I feel like it's not asking too much for the staff to be more friendly toward their customers (especially their regular ones). It's a standard part of the job that too many people overlook."

"Friendly employees. The store is organized, clean and well stocked. No funky smells. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pencil, and I like to buy Tarte mascara. I can always find what I am looking for. I did a return today. No questions asked. I had no receipt but with my phone number the sales associate es able to find my purchase & help with the return. White baskets are available for your purchase convenience upon entering the store."
