"I received excellent care by Dr. Yallourakis. I have had some molars removed and replaced with dental implants and have had zero problems with the implants. His nurse also did an excellent job in putting in the IV for the sedative. The entire staff showed care and compassion for your well being."
"They will tell you they’ve got backed up because of the patient load, but over booking is a common problem. I waited 2.5 hours for the doctor. A lady beside me said she’s been there multiple times and waited over an hour. She had the same procedure I was getting a consultation for (said he butchered her and she was only returning for a follow up) I spent 5 min with the doctor for him to tell me it would be a tough procedure. After all that, I didn’t feel comfortable. They charged 145.00 just for x-rays and consultation. I said I needed a refund to be able to go somewhere else and pay it again… they said no refunds… 2.5 hours for 5 min of his time and he’s unsure. I am reasonable but this was an awful experience (as other reviews reflect)"
"The hour and half wait I had for surgery mind you after not eating all day and not going back for surgery till almost 1pm, was something I just over looked but to get here at 6pm at night for a post opp appointment and there be so many people here waiting is crazy. It’s 6pm, some of us have to be up early for work in the morning. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They also charged me $52 for a consult fee and then charged my insurance which also paid and I didn’t get any money back. They also charged me $383 and my insurance paid $320, and I still haven’t gotten anything back from them at all. Terrible experience, you would this place is owned by Balled not something you would expect from HMG at all. My appt was at 6, I left at 6:30 still not being seen."
"To give this company one star is ridiculous in my book and my family’s book. We got there early to make sure we signed all the paperwork and it wasn’t long until me and my sister was called back. Once called back the nurse told us it would be a few minutes, fast forward almost an HOUR later I went out to see how much longer it would be because waiting that long for a DOCTOR is absurd! I approached a nurse and then the doctor approached me and asked me what room I was in and I pointed to my sister’s room and he said that he was coming in there and put his head down towards the floor as if he didn’t want to look me in the eyes. I returned to the room and a few minutes later he came in telling us that we “needed to be patient with him” due to a few nurses calling out because of some bad shrimp? First of all, what does Nurse’s have to do with YOUR job?! He also had a nurse with him. That wasn’t an acceptable excuse at all. You’re the doctor, be a bit faster and make sure to manage the appointments BETTER. Then he went through my sister’s consultation very fast, made her feel as if she was dumb, asked her why she was allergic to a certain medication (that’s honestly a stupid question because if someone’s a allergic to something all you need to do is write it down, no need in trying to get into one’s personal matters). He was very rude and unprofessional in my opinion and I did not like him nor how we was treated. People’s time is valuable, so as a “professional” you should treat it as such. Needless to say, this wasn’t the only problem we ran into. We was sent to check out and the office lady (who was not busy nor did she have anyone at her desk sitting down) proceeded to tell me and my sister that we can have a seat across the hall from her and she’ll “call us when she’s ready”, honestly dumb. She then called my sister over to her and told my sister to pay $52. Just a few days prior to this they told my sister that she would only need to bring $40 to her appointment for copay. So, that was another red flag in our book. My sister then called and was told that that is the new copay amount. Lies. If that was the case, then why would you tell my sister just a few days before she came in that it would be $40. My sister called back and they honored back her $12 to make it right. Thankful we even got that back. My sister nor any of my family will visit this place ever again. We do not want rude and unprofessional people working on our teeth. At all cost, AVOID this place! Don’t go! Not worth seeing this doctor. Seems like a very disorganized staff as well. If you do decide that you have to go make sure you’re prepared to wait hours 1-2 maybe even more."
"My wife waited almost 2 hours to get in to her consultation, we waited almost 2 hours to get into the appointment, then waited an hour after we were in the room. The scheduling has some errors apparently (especially based on other reviews). In addition, my wife woke up during her surgery and was in significant pain upon picking her up. They didn’t do a bad job at getting the job done technically.. just not in the best way."
