"I am here from New York to visit family and my cousins brought me here for a dinner. It is safe to say I could not love it more. The ambience is amazing and the food is even better! Damien was our waiter and he is the sweetest. If I could give the place 100 stars I would. I highly recommend this place!"
"I am coming from New York to visit my family and they brought me here for dinner. This exceeded my expectations the food was to die for and I cleared my plate so fast. There is no meal you can go wrong with here. The food is delicious. Highly Recommend"
"THE BEST RED WINE I’VE EVER HAD! Now that I have your attention, I’m excited to share that our dinner at Nick’s was life changing. This is truly the best food we’ve had since moving to Charleston. It was packed for Schnitzel night so we sat outside and had the BEST time! They have lights, heaters, and blankets which made it a super intimate and enjoyable experience. Forewarning I am not a sauerkraut, red wine, or plum fan— but they’ve made me question this. Things we got that I can’t wait to eat again: - Bavarian bratwurst as a starter - Beef stroganoff and Jägerschnitzel - Plum streusel cake (request it with ice cream) And the sweet red wine that I can’t stop thinking about is Schlink Haus’s Dornfelder. Nick personally came out to meet us. It’s very obvious he has a huge heart for his restaurant and will go above and beyond for his patrons. Leander was supposed to be our server, but immediately felt more like a friend. Despite us being outside, he was super attentive to us and went above and beyond to make sure our date night was special. What we didn’t tell him was that this was the first time in 2 months we’d been able to go out for our weekly date night. His friendliness, hospitality, and knowledge about our dishes made our night incredible, and we will definitely be asking for him when we return. PS: Tuesdays and Wednesdays are Schnitzel Day with $5 off the pork dishes. Thursdays are 50% off wine ($100 and under). Would give 100 stars if I could."
"An incredible and yummy experience that I HIGHLY recommend!!!! We love German food and make it at home frequently. As German restaurants are not as common as many others, when we saw this one, we knew we had to try and it did NOT disappoint. The schnitzel was fantastic, as was the pork roast. Spaetzle and dumplings that accompanied the meals were also amazing. There were two things that were unusual (in a good way) compared to what we typically eat at home and in restaurants near where we live. The red cabbage was more sweet than sour, and the sauerkraut was creamy and mild. For dessert, they have ice cream spaghetti and a not so sweet Black Forest cake. Lastly, the beer and wine menu was large and delicious too. Photo is the pork roast and desserts. Forgot to take photos of the rest but have no doubt that you will love this place if you like German food."
"Absolutely loved it. I've been to Europe a lot, We traveled around Germany in 2019 and went to lots of the Christmas markets so to find this restaurant in South Carolina was pretty cool. Nothing is like over there but I would definitely come back here and eat again. I got the pork medallion with bacon, onion, green bean and spaetzle and my boyfriend got the wiener schnitzel and he got cheesy spaetzel with his of course we did the potato pancakes and the dumpling as appetizers all very good. After dinner we were going to go with a traditional German dessert but we went for their special and then of course ended the evening with cappuccinos."
