"Me and my family went to Plato’s today and Friday and there was no customer service. I walked in and felt judged and they were rude and disrespectful. I won’t be going back after these recent experiences. I used to love it and now I am sad that I don’t feel welcomed in their store anymore."
"The worst place for customer service! We went in Friday night and then had to go in again on Sunday and everytime we go into that store the people that work there have the WORST customer service ever! Unfriendly, dismissive, etc. I’ll never go again."
"If 0 stars was an option I’d have used it. Took jeans to Plato’s Closet to sell. Asked if I could pick up later (knowing I wouldn’t be able to come back in the next couple days) and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. Went to pick them up today. They had donated all of the unsold jeans and my basket. Said it didn’t matter what I was told because I signed the paper saying I’d be back in 24hrs. This is a very poor way to conduct business and I will find other places to buy/sell items."
"I will never waste my time selling to them. They turn down most all the name brands. Also turned down UGG boots in great shape. I believe they like Walmart brands and they all do not know what will sale. Most of that store is just junk. The way I see it if I wanted Faded Glory I would just buy it at Walmart new."
"I went in today with a large amount of clothes and they only took 6 items. Pretty much everything they gave back was brand new with tags that have never been worn before (I saw a review where it appears they are discriminatory towards people who wear a size XL and up, but all of these items were either a M or L), and unfortunately they weren’t “good enough.” They’re extremely picky, despite half of what’s on their shelves - I would never wear. The workers were extremely rude and hateful. It appears they’ve never smiled a day in their life. I had never been to Plato’s closer to sell clothes and I certainly will not be back. They did not make my trip there enjoyable at all."
