Arbuckle’s Bar & Grill

"We were staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton and really enjoyed the Happy/Social hour that was hosted by Arbuckle’s. Each hotel guest got a drink card that gives you 2 free drinks everyday day that you stay at the hotel. The social hour was so fun, especially for my grandparents who like to people watch. My grandad especially enjoyed the beer on tap and light snacks. The, free social hour drink list was the usual basic wines & beers. I was excited that they offered a mixed drink upon request in addition to the beers and wines for social hour. The mixed drink was so festive with orange, pink and red coloring. Perfect for holidays at the beach! The staff was very busy due to the holidays but was very accommodating with requests. My grandma is handicap and in a wheelchair, so staff made sure we had room to push her wheelchair through the dinning room and brought plates when needed."

"We we're staying at The Cavalier across the street, and this was one of the restaurants they suggested that had a happy hour. 1/2 price apps and burgers. Located in the Embassy Hotel, it seemed set up more as the Hotel Bar and breakfast area. Staff was super friendly, well 1 bartender and a trainee. Seems that Embassy does a free drink for a Managers reception. Anyone staying here gets that perk, but that means the bar gets packed. There was a hugh line of people getting their drinks. This poor bartender was trying to take care of all of them and the people drinking/eating at the bar. Service was a little slow at the end due to this, but no fault of hers. The food was pretty good. Everyone enjoyed what they got. Lemon Pepper wings, Hanover Burger, Calamari, and Tot Nachos. We would come again for their Happy Hour specials, prices, and food were just right! Hopefully, the short staff was a fluke that night."

"This is a new place opened right below the embassy suites, so we thought about venturing there for a quick lunch. The ambience is pretty claustrophobic, and the service is pretty much below average with no additional staff recruited to handle only restaurant orders. The turkey burger was good, but I have had better burgers elsewhere, the cod burger that my husband had was a bad suggestion by the server as it wasn't good at all, the crab dip was delicious so go for it but for the main lunch just go elsewhere."

"We ordered food from the late night menu. There were only two customers at the bar eating and it took almost 30 minutes to get our take out order which was hamburger and wings. The french fries that came with the burger was super old and cold. I can't believe they were just serve some old cold french fries. They could have made new fires with the order. The burger was decent in flavor and the wings were just okay. Sort of dry. The sauce was also just okay."

"My husband and I shared the Round Up Burger. I don't exactly know what 'Crispy Tobacco Onions' are but they were absolutely amazing. I could've eaten a basket of those by themselves! The 'Tarnished Truth Bourbon BBQ' perfectly complimented the sweet pickles! As Texans I can honestly the we both truly enjoyed the BBQ sauce! The french fries weren't crispy, but we're still fantastic! They were more homemade style than a traditional french fries and very much within the style of the restaurant. I'm pretty sure our server's name is Bobbi and she was fantastic! The sweet tea was good, not too sweet and not under sweet."
