"What has happened to decent customer service? I mean, simply greeting a customer... this store's customer service was trash. Instead of speaking, it was what they couldn't do for me.. There are several ways to say no....a rude way and a polite way. If you didn't want to help customers work some elsewhere."

"Something was missed labeled with a sale price so I got two of those items I get to the counter and they wasn’t honoring the label that they had out. She looked at the newspaper and said well it’s not here. My thing is if y’all got a label out an it say for sale, that y’all should be honoring what y’all got out just cause it’s not in the newspaper. It’s not my fault y’all still got a label on that’s not being honored anymore. Y’all got the label still out or should’ve removed it before the store opened. It was a black lady up front with the short cut hair she just looked at me like I was crazy and she didn’t apologize or anything and she didn’t give me the discount from the sale that they got going on, so I left one of the items there. She had no customer service skills whatsoever."

"Every time I go there (I don’t go there often just when it’s on my way) the lines to check out are always LONG! The person that is assigned to the self check outs is no help at all. She sure tells you to respect the line if anyone steps up but she doesn’t bother to tell people that one cash register is open or another to help with flow. The result is 20 minutes to check out 5 items at 2:00pm not rush hours! She is very unhelpful and mean! I’m not going back there again!"

"Yeah, it was all cool and I walked in to get some pork chops and I waited in line then also grabbed some coffee next to me in line and that was pretty much it. I used self check out and I waited in line like everybody else, what about it? No big deal, just doing my thing just like you. Food Lion pork chops, all right by me."
