"This may seem very odd to you, when I describe my experience at Dr. Shojaei’s office as an amazingly exceptional experience, after all we are talking about the visit to a endodontist and root canal surgery. I had multiple root canal treatments and surgery in the span of few weeks by Dr. Shojaei, all done in outmost comfort and ease provided under her direct care. I did not have any pain or discomfort during the procedure and did not need to take painkillers postoperatively. She is an experienced , skillful surgeon who truly cares about how you feel about the procedure, before, during and after the surgery, taking time to explain and provide as much information and expectations of what had to be achieved. I am a medical school professor working in Washington DC, driving all the way to Sterling VA, multiple times to see Dr Shojaei , she must be an excellent surgeon, which she is. The office environment is very nice, comfortable and calm and the staff are very nice and welcoming, trying to accommodate your appointments schedule with the least disruption to your daily life."

"I would never recommend this office to anyone. The doctor did a fair job at my root canal. Though she told me what she was doing, it felt very rushed and as though they squeezed me in. Regardless, the front desk has been absolutely AWFUL to work with. I was provided an estimate prior to my appointment, which I agreed to and fully paid at time of service. Since then (4 months ago), I have been receiving statements with a balance. Despite calling the office every time I receive a balance, calling my own insurance, and being told I'll be called back with more information, it never happened and has never resolved. I just get another balance statement in the mail, having to go through the entire process over and over. It is extremely frustrating to have to continue repeating myself without any follow up or solutions. Every time, I find out additional aspects which were done incorrectly, such as being given an inaccurate estimate (not based on my insurance despite providing all the details and being told it was accurate ahead of time), inaccurate charges for services completed, and so on. Please save your time and energy by finding another office. *Editing to add that I still have not been followed up with. Only emailed a detailed report of my specific insurance and procedures, with private health information listed, to my personal email; see owner's response below. A HIPAA violation."

"I had to undergo a root canal this week, and what is never a pleasant experience for anyone was really not bad at all in the very capable and kind hands of Dr Shojaei. This endodontist has a wonderful demeanor that really helped me relax. Her assistant, Abby, is equally skillful in making everything go smoothly and quickly. Also a thank you to front office staff Sirly who sorted the insurance for me. Highly recommend this team if you need an endodontist!"
