"Came here with my entire frisbee team after a tournament, and they sat all 20 of us on about 15 minutes notice, so shoutout them for that to start. As a whole, they handled the logistics of such a large group very well and got food out in time and on schedule. I got the arroz con Pollo, which was decent and a large portion. Also, regarding service, they kept the chips + salsa coming which was awesome. Never had the margaritas yet, but El Rods is pretty solid from what I've seen."

"Food was good. Margaritas were amazing! Staff was friendly and polite. Wheelchair accessible and frienly. Restaurant had trays etc in the walkway along with construction tools on the tables so cleanliness was not 100%"

"I came for a late lunch around 3pm. I was the only one in the restaurant. It was clean, pretty dark as the blinds were closed. The lighting at the table was not that great. I ordered ACP in a taco shell bowl. It didn’t have any rice in it, and was very soupy. The shell tasted a little like old grease. I waited a short time for a sweet tea refill. The staff was nice, not overly attentive. I gave it a 2/5 because I didn’t think the food was that great. But maybe it was an off day. The restaurant is in a small mall near Va Tech. Parking is minimal in front of the building. There’s a couple other restaurants close as well as a Starbucks a couple clothing stores, and a huge movie theater."
