"Great place for our rehearsal dinner! We were in the mezzanine and we had a bar to ourselves. The food was amazing & there was A LOT of it! They were able to cater to my gluten free folk and it was a beautiful evening. Thank you!"

"Just left and I feel a bit bummed. My wife and I went and we ordered our drinks which were good but not incredible. We ordered The Honey Badger minus the bacon and it looked beautiful. The cheese was perfectly melted but there was 0 flavor. It lacked spices and it was wild bc it looked so good. Worst part was that it had bacon inside it. The bacon was under the cheese and we managed to find six pieces in one slice and saw more in others. It was very uncomfortable. The. Mozzarella sticks were fine and it came with four so I guess that was a good. Server was kind but they did apologize for “neglecting us” which were their words not mine. we did have to track them down to give them the check. They did take the pizza off and they gave us free shooters so we appreciate it. We still tipped the 20%. Over all just a mid experience…"

"Had a great time at Bar Solita! My friend and I ordered a pitcher of passion fruit mimosas and they were incredible. I also enjoyed the old bay chicken biscuit. It wasn’t quite as premium as a Fancy Biscuit meal but also it’s not a biscuit place! My friend got a brunch pizza and enjoyed it. Overall I’d happily go back but with the steep competition in Richmond, it didn’t quite rank as my top brunch spot."

"1. When the server brought our water, he noticed something on one of the glasses and said he’ll bring another glass. And that is when I also noticed a lipstick print on my glass and asked to swap my water as well. (I honestly don’t know why we didn’t leave right away - dirty glasses is obviously a bad sign) 2. We got drip coffee with creamer. Asked the hostess for a spoon to mix the creamer. After I mixed my coffee and flipped the spoon to lay it rest on a plate - I noticed a brown spot on it, and as I touched it with my finger - it looked like an old spot of chocolate that got melted, so it was left from someone who was eating dessert with this spoon before. 3. The food tasted bad. My potatoes were very dry. Chicken was also very dry with an old coating fried in an old oil. 4. Server was trying to be nice and he was, but - I couldn’t certainly tell he was apathetic to the job.. I am not judging here, but it does create a sad atmosphere, where you just feel bad for a server that he’s kinda forced to work there, I don’t know..He brought the check with the pen I could barely write with.. 5. There were breadcrumbs on a table, and the windowsill was very dusty.. I’ve taken pictures of the food, it looks better than it tastes. I feel bad leaving this review, but I mean it’s the truth. I wish it was a different experience as when we looked the place up - it looked much better on the pictures.."

"Stopped by this little gem for brunch during my Bachelorette party. We had the pineapple mimosas, chicken and waffles, and spinach chicken salad. Literally the best chicken and waffles I've ever put in my mouth! The spinach salad was delicious also and enough to feed at least two people! Great atmosphere and friendly staff."
