"Spent a wonderful impromptu Saturday late afternoon date at this wonderful venue with my wife. Parking was conveniently located in the garage next door, we were warmly greeted by the owner Jeremy and staff upon our arrival. The food was good and prompt and served before the show. Our waiter, Chris, was very attentive but non intrusive - his service was truly professional. All tables had a great view of the band. The band Secret Society had the audience jamming and it was a full, mature audience that enhanced the entire experience. Food, Dancing, and Atmosphere was on point. Will definitely be a repeat customer at this exciting new DC venue."

"We will definitely visit again. Dinner in the Carlyle Room was great . Service and hospitality was very good . The sweet potato pie and Tiramisu didn’t look like what you might expect and didn’t taste good. Also some areas sitting is tight . We sat close to the back wall and was asked my one staff member if we could move our tables and chairs up . When guest came for the table behind us, the staff asked could we move the tables and chairs back . But overall we had a great experience."

"I was really looking forward to kicking off the holiday season with my family with dinner and a Christmas music-themed show. However, the staff is so unprofessional and just downright rude. I tried to explain to a server that my steak wasn't prepared correctly and she gave me a rude response before taking my plate to the kitchen. When she returned, I asked for a knife and fork and she just raised her hands in the air and shrugged like it wasn't her responsibility to provide utensils. When she did return with a knife and fork, they were dirty and had clearly been used. We tried several times to speak with someone and finally asked for a manager. Twenty minutes later, a staff member was standing near our table so we asked again for a manager. He told us he was a manager and that he was aware of our request then proceeded to berate us and raise his voice asking what we expected him to do. I explained what happened and his response, again, was what did I want him to do? Then he asked if I wanted to pay for the cold, burned steak sitting in front of me and I said no. He then said OK and walked away. His demeanor the entire time was rude, unprofessional, and downright nasty. I've never had such an unpleasant experience in a restaurant and I doubt I'll be returning. Is it too much to ask to be spoken to and treated with common courtesy? I was respectful and calm and expected the same in return. I guess I was wrong."

"We went to the Carlyle room to see a live performance from jazz guitarist Earl Carter. He was phenomenal! The atmosphere was perfect. It was truly suited for an intimate jazz experience. Very upscale. The food was good. The menu prices are on the high end, so be prepared to spend! I enjoyed my rack of lamb, but it was slightly overcooked. I did not know that I would have to specify the temperature to them for ROL. It was still good. Every one else enjoyed their meals and cocktails as well. I look forward to going back there!"
