"MONEY GRAB. It's that simple. The first time I had to get my water pump replaced. They were slow due to the fact that any parts needed for the repair are 80 to 120 miles away. That being said I was charged for any parts run, even going back for return trip for parts missed. The second and last time I needed their service, I had a truck that had trouble building air while idling. Driving down the road it would build air properly. I had the owner of Diesel & Heavy Equipment Services look at it. He insisted it was an air compressor. I disagreed. He put a new air compressor on and it didn't solve the problem. All said and done, the air compressor, air dryer and safety protection valve were all replaced. Trial and Error. When I got my bill I was blown away. Almost $6,200 to fix a truck have trouble building air. After looking at my bill, I was overcharged for the Air Compressor ($1462.22) and Air Dryer ($1242.45). A simple check with local vendors resulted in a price of $856.99 for the Air Compressor and $403.99 for the Air Dryer. Also, it took them 2 days to fix my truck. Looking back I should've drove down the road and found someone else to help me out."
