"I pouches used tires, but without holes or punch. Unfortunately, after 10 hours 3 of 4 slept by leaking from punch. When I back there. He didn't stand behind his job and tires. I paid again. He doesn't check all or whole tire before installation, and it's nit good ,most people like me passing area and drive on highway. Very dangerous"
"On 5/1/2019, I had 4 tires put on at the Midlothian Tire Shop/Midlothian Tire & Rim 6500 Midlothian Tnpk, which was fast and took about 15 minutes to complete. I was extremely happy with the speed of service, but three days later I had some problems. I went to take the tires off to replace my brake pads, and one tire gave me an issue taking off the lug nuts. One lug nut was hard to turn, and I was concerned immediately. I drove my vehicle back up to Midlothian Tire Shop to let them know I think during the installation something happened. One service member came out and tried to get the lug nut off, and it broke the wheel stud in half. I asked him if he thought it could have been over torqued or mis threaded, and he said no, and that they did everything correctly. He said the issue is with the bolt/head stud and that I would have to get it fixed. Given that I have been working on vehicles for over 20 years, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was by chance that my wheel stud broke, and I was going to fix it myself. I went home thinking this is just something that happens. When I went to remove the other lug nuts, another lug nut on the same wheel did the same thing. At this point, I shook my head and said to myself this must be something with the way they put it on. What are the odds 2 wheel studs break 3 days after someone installs your tires in 10-15 minutes, especially when they use those high powered impact wrenches? I went back up to Midlothian Tire Shop and explained that this has got to do with the installation. I spoke with the owner, and he said he will check into it. 10 minutes later, the service staff member came out and said there was nothing they can do for me. I was a bit shocked that they couldn’t offer to meet me half way in the repair costs of replacing the wheel studs. I have spoken to another shop about this incident, and they stated that if Midlothian Tire was the last person to put the tires on, they should be liable. From a customer service standpoint, I agree, or at least they could have helped me a little, but Midlothian Tire would not help at all. Nothing… I have used them several times in the past, but will not use them for my tire installations anymore. If they operate with this type of customer service, they should have a sign up that states they are not responsible for broken studs. I’m sure that would scare anyone away. Most reputable tire shops I have spoken to would have fixed the issue, but Midlothian Tire Shop did not, and didn’t help in any way. I'm sad to say anything negative about anyone, but I believe this is not how a business should operate… They are nice, but they refused to help. I’m not sure what to make of that."
