"Only got a 1 star because 0 stars is not possible, my best friend had his wedding this past weekend and she was suppose to deliver his cake and no cake came this was suppose to be the perfect day for my buddy and his wife and she ruined it and wouldn’t even reach back out to him until the next day to resolve the issue! The issue was never resolved she said since she “delivered the cake to the wrong wedding” they could not get their money back. Clown of a person and joke of a buisness deserves to be shut down for the poor performance and way she treats customers."
"A good friend hired to make a cake for they’re wedding and they didn’t show up and wouldn’t answer calls then the next day they called again and she said she brought it to a totally different location (probably a lie) and then when they asked for the money back she said that it was all there fault and acted extremely immature about the whole thing. Wouldn’t trust them for the most important day in someone’s life."
"Attended a wedding where this company delivered the cake to the wrong venue. When trying to resolve the issue the bakery refused to accept fault and placed blame on the venue. The lack of professionalism was appalling."
"Shona made a cake for our wedding. A beautiful 6 inch cake with white buttercream frosting. I had a clay mold made of my dog and asked that she add that to the cake. (I added the cake topper and the flowers) She did a fantastic job and the cake was so so so delicious. She is a delight to talk to and I highly recommend this bakery."
"Horrible company. We used them for our cakes, catering and floral for our wedding. They contacted us two weeks before our wedding to say they had lost all of our details about our wedding, including the date. They showed up an hour and a half late to the wedding and floral was all made of artificial flowers even though that was never discussed. We were even told we couldn't get the floral the day before because the flowers were sensitive and she didn't want them to wilt before the wedding. I've never seen fake flowers wilt, these still haven't wilted and the wedding was 2 months ago. We were quoted for a carved grooms cake but were told 2 weeks before the wedding (after the final payment was made) that they would no longer be able to do a carved cake due to price and time restraints. They promised us for our troubles they would be able to make a grooms cake with an edible image but would be able to decorate it with fruits and toppings so it wouldn't look like a birthday cake. Well, it looked exactly like a birthday cake. We told them before the last payment was made that we didn't mind paying more for the services that we wanted but were assured they would do everything for the price they originally gave us. So, to be told after the last payment that we were unwilling to pay for something after we were very clear we didn't mind to pay more was very frustrating. We were told that our wedding officiant had left the company and wouldn't be able to do our wedding (this was on October 5th, our wedding was October 22nd). Due to them arriving late to our wedding, our photography was delayed due to missing the florals. The grooms boutonniere was the wrong color which we were later told was because we never gave the company a color sample to match (not sure you should need a sample to differentiate the burgundy we requested from the light blue we received.) We were told there was "a couple dollar" credit card fee which turned into a couple hundred dollars. We were double taxed on our first payment as well. On the day of the wedding due to the company's late arrival, the charcuterie table wasn't set up on time and delayed our guests from snacking right after the ceremony. When we received our main course, the food was cold and it was noted the dishes had not been placed on chafing dishes to keep them warm. There were no butter for rolls that we had specified and were even told "I'm glad you said that, we normally don't include butter unless requested". The overall setup was very poor for a wedding. We had originally been told they would bring nice artificial silverware that looked silver or clear but ended up with prepackaged white plastic silverware. We were told the company would cut our cake and at the end of the night, would box and wrap it in a way that it could be frozen and preserved properly, so it could be eaten on our anniversary. Attached is a picture of exactly how the cake was packaged. Overall, the company cut lots of corners and did not deliver on our expectations or what we were promised. At least they shorted us in a way our guests didn't really notice other than the cold food. We contacted the owner after the wedding with our concerns and, although we were very polite explaining our concerns, the owner was very rude, even going as far as to ask the bride's mother if she was even at the wedding because if she had been, she would have known everything was perfect. She said they received no complaints from our guests (as if anyone is going to be argumentative at a wedding). She informed us the floral was wrong because we changed our mind on what we wanted at the last minute even though the pictures and sample images of what we wanted hadn't changed from the first time we met with them. She complained that our pictures took too long, but after reviewing the time stamps on images taken at our wedding, we began routing guests to get food at 6:05, scheduled time was 6:00. After all of our troubles and especially how the owner responded to our concerns, we would not recommend this business to anyone!"
