"I will be honest when I say to write this review really saddens my heart! I went to sheetz yesterday at 1:34 to load money onto my elderly mother’s cash app card. Made the transaction, paid in cash! Well, after returning to my elderly mother’s home. I realized the receipt said declined. This is pretty much where my nightmare began! I drove back to the sheets that I had created the purchase with cash, to inform them that the money that I had paid Was not going to go to my card because the transaction had declined. The cashier, didn’t get a chance to response before the manager overheard us speaking rudely tells her to stop talking to me and says I have to make a call before we can give you any type of refund. I patiently waited 45 minutes! to just have a. Phone handed to me, and yes, he handed me the phone rather than telling me himself that he was not gonna to be able to give me my money! Even though the transaction happened less than an hour prior, And paid in cash. I was not a happy camper. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that I was not nice to Holly on the phone at this point. As you can understand, I was very upset. Holly informed me that irregardless of the fact that I paid in cash, They had to do a full countdown before they could refund me my money. I asked Holly is it possible that the money will make it to the card even though it says declined. She said, that’s unlikely. So now I have to wait three days before they can give me the 500 They so easily took from my hands. I called today and talked to customer service, And they were not very much help either. At the end of the conversation. I told him that this makes it hard for me to want to be a continuing customer, And his response was we understand where you’re coming from and after we give you your refund if you choose not to be a customer, we understand. I wonder if you told all your customers that how many customers would you have left? This is a huge inconvenience for me not for sheets for me. Most companies would offer a gift card, gas points, free food, something as compensation for the three day wait that I will have to to endure before getting the refund I should have received the day I came in with my receipts. And honestly, I felt like I was treated like a criminal. The manager was completely red in the face, Would barely make eye contact with me, And did not apologize for the situation at hand! And did not have the decency to tel Me himself… Instead put me on the phone with Holly! I have to say after I get my money back if I get my money back. Most likely will never return to another sheets again! And if you enjoy that kind of treatment, go ahead and keep going there! I will take my business elsewhere!"
"Place is very dirty inside with gnats and flies everywhere. Trash bins are often overflowing. Condiments for the coffee station are rarely restocked. It’s obvious that their manager is very inept. Employees are very nice however."

"My husband and I had the worst experience at the New London location this evening in regards to asking the cashier to manually enter our sheetz card number. He stated that he could not do that and the register would not allow him to input numbers….even after we told him how to do it and which options to push. We knew it could be done because we were advised by their corporate office and a manager at one of the locations that since the company could not get our points transferred the only way to use the number was to have it manually entered. The gentleman at the cash register was rude, arrogant and was not customer focused or oriented at all. We left our food tickets and other items and our money went to another location who DID manually enter our sheetz rewards card number. Basically, the worker LIED and just didn’t WANT to manually enter the number for us."
"I really liked my experience here. The food, most made to order, is worth the stop alone! The bacon eggs and cheese on sourdough bread was satisfying. The location itself is very clean. The bathrooms included. It was also a comfort away from home to make my own hot tea. Friendly service. Very kind and welcoming people."
