"The food was delicious. I had the Cabo Tilapia and it was perfectly cooked. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. A wonderful dining experience."

"The food was not right. He brought me a whole other dish than what I ordered. Fixed it kind of and then charged for the wrong dish. Took me a while to get their attention for a box and my check. I was the only person in the place initially. It was dead. That should have been my first clue to go somewhere else. The chicken didn't taste right and the mushrooms on top tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Not even sure why they would be near oil. This is my first time visiting here and I won't return. And the only reason I boxed the chicken is because I will share it with my dog. I have no intention of eating anymore. This might be all that is over here. But it really wasn't good and I would recommend driving a little bit further for good food. Lynchburg has a couple good places at least."

"We had a memorable dinner at this La Carreta. It seemed to be a bit less crowded, and a little more quiet than some of their other locations. Meals were tasty all around. I'm voting for this to be our new "default " LA Carreta location."

"Was a good spot for lunch. Price and quality and quantity were on point. 4 of us and with two beers and two waters ( the ladies' lol) bill was in the 60s with tip. Not bad nowadays for 4. Food was tasty with plenty of it! Friendly staff with a little language barrier, but still good. Bathrooms were awesome, I have to say. It looks like their may have been some outside seating that may be pet friendly. Not sure but I will update the review after we go back with the hound in tow. I think in lynchburg there is three of these restaurants. Not sure if the others share the same menus or have outside seating, but this one was definitely worth the visit and return visit. Check em out! Had another wonderful, tasty meal here. My third. Food was on point. Price was on point. Salsa was on point. Service was on point. Quickly growing to be my #1 mexican restaurant while in lynchburg. Definitely give them a try! Update: After five employees conversed among themselves, I found out the seating outside is not pet friendly. Major bummer. I was really hoping to make this place my go-to Mexican restaurant in lynchburg. Still great food though."

"From my experience the food here is great every time. I have yet to have a bad meal from any of the locations. La Carreta is one of the best in the state."
