"I’ve spent a lot of time and money buying, trying, and tearing up gear. 5.11 is the only place I will drop $$ knowing the gear is tough as nails. I bought the S.O.M.S. 3.0 for Camera gear and needed to swap it out for a different color. Will and Patrick at the Fairax store took care of my exchange with no issue. How do you expect to keep clients if you treat them like they don't have a choice but to come to your store? I'm speaking specifically about an older gentleman who was behind the counter. The younger man, by contrast, was very polite."

"Usually, with some exceptions… 5.11 makes great products (pants & backpacks). For other categories, you have to look into it deeper. For example, this zippered light hoodie made in Vietnam (see pictures shared). I tried it in the store and it was almost too big in a (M) size for $24 on clearance in April 2022. After a normal wash, which I happen to combine with another $12 hoodie I purchased 8 years ago on clearance from Old Navy… The 5.11 garment shrank at least a little more the one size down. Interestingly, the Old Navy $12 hoodie never shrank once in 8 years… Store attendant explained that 5.11’s policy is strictly NO Returns on clearance items! I have no other choice but to question products about the brand… So the quest begins with my 5.11 story and the ‘shrinking hoodie’"

"For all tactical apparel and toys make sure to check this place. They have a excellent selection of pants, both nylon and denim. Tshits, polos, and button downs. They also have tactical shoes and boots. The staff is super friendly and helpful!!! The store is really clean and organized!!!!"
