"Always get the family size Stromboli but have eaten other foods. Lately the Strombolis weren't completely cooked. But it was no big deal because we would just finish cooking it. However, found some gift cards that expired less than a week ago that was purchased last year. Manager refused to honor them. Why would a business want to lose a regular customer over a couple 10$ gift cards?"

"Stopped here after a church service at Haygood and they were accommodating for a large party of about 17 or so. Service was great. I had a chicken gyro with a side salad and they were both excellent. Many in the party had individual pizzas and they looked good as well."

"I've always wanted to try Pembroke Pizza but never had the opportunity when the urge for pizza came up. It's located on the corner of a small shopping center off Independence Blvd. and you may miss it since the sign isn't really large. The parking is minimal but the majority of the orders were to go do you should be able to find a spot. If not, you can park on the street adjacent to it. I ordered the 8" cheese pizza because of you can't get a cheese pizza done right, you might as well not call yourself a pizza restaurant. I asked for jalapeños and sweet peppers for this hot day. Plus, I wanted to see a contrast of colors so the cheese. The crust was cooked to perfection: soft with a crunchy upper layer. I was expecting a NY style and I'm so happy it wasn't. I'm not a fan of thin pizza crust. It was good amount of cheese to crust ratio. I never felt like I was shorted. The sauce won't knock you out but it works in tandem with everything else. I'm definitely coming back. If you're in the Pembroke area, give it a shot. They also have various calzones, pastas, subs, and wings of your not in the mood for pizza."
