"Hot dogs were great, as expected, but I was super surprised how good the burger and fries were! The buns are apparently baked fresh locally and they're so light and fluffy and the beef is super fresh tasting as well. Happy to add this quaint little spot to the lunch rotation."

"I was really looking forward to trying this place but was rather disappointed. Their menu is huge, with so many dogs to choose from. I ended up just asking for recommendations and got two that I cannot even remeber what the were called. The dogs were very small, in general and in proportion to the buns. The buns didn't really taste all that good, and the thing as a whole was rather bland. Service was friendly, but rather slow considering that it's a hot dog place."

"Behold the irony of sharing a burger pic at a hot dog den, but I profess of them the tried and true: Potato salad > Onion Rings > Tator Tots City styled hot dogs are just as good as their burgers (and this one was good, let me tell you). I work nearby, so this place attracted me as a good lunch or happy hour joint and having just moved from the NOVA area, I have to say it feels like a steal. The toppings are fresh, and the line cooks are on it. Give it a go, give it a try. Full send recommend. Update: It's still a great hangout. Dogs of the month are great."

"The food was tasty. I would have liked a larger hot dog. The chili could have been tastier in my humble opinion. The fries were rustic and very tasty to me! The atmosphere was intimate for eating in and adequate for a hot dog place. Customer service was excellent. Prices were fair! 6 hot dogs were $20 bucks 3 orders of fries $10…. So about 10 bucks per person for the 3 of us without beverages! I would definitely return! Alcohol was also on the menu along with burgers. A fun city joint."

"Swung by City Dogs for a quick sit-down lunch. Staff was very helpful and patient with all my silly customer questions. The food here was delicious! I got the Richmond Original and the Indy Dog, my date got the Chicago Dog all were cooked to perfection and definitely representative of the names. I have to fish by saying the fries and onion rings were flavorful and fresh out of the fryer. Will return again"
