"Was looking for a nice spot to read and eat a little lunch. It was a calm environment with lots of people working and reading. Menu has lots of options for different diets. I couldn't decide so I got a half salad and half sandwich. Both were good, but the chicken sandwich was just a bit lacking. Could use something else, but im not sure what."
"This restaurant has something for everyone! Both healthy and indulgent items, and everything is made with very high quality ingredients. Additionally, it’s a great atmosphere for a sit down meal. Not too loud, and very inviting."
"Really cute place. Tucked away and it’s furnished nicely. There are plenty of places to sit and a bunch of outlets to use if you need it. They have an outdoor patio that’s dog friendly. There are a few bookshelves of books to borrow if you’re into that too and local artwork to purchase. The Problem lie in the food and service. Unfortunately places like this overcharge for mediocre food and this cafe is no different. I got a chicken sandwich with a side of chips i probably could have made it better at home. Service is also a bit slow so I probably wouldn’t stop by if you’re in a rush. Nice compromise is they have a pretty decent selection of things from local vendors with some snacks, bars, pastries, bread etc. they have premade drinks too like sparkling water, ice tea, and some local cold pressed drinks. Honestly it’s a really cute vibe but I’d avoid the food they make and stick with premade stuff and coffee or tea."
"Stopped by for lunch on 4th of July because it was one of the few places open. We got the Turkey & Raita with Mint sandwich ($12.95) , BL& Va T sandwich ($12.95), beet juice ($9.25) and a iced tea ($3.75). Turkey sandwich was a solid sandwich and the yogurt mint sauce really made it fresh and summery. The BLT was fine. Beet juice was good but I would have preferred if it was colder. Iced tea was good, tasted like they added some licorice or light star anise flavor. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was pretty empty, when I stopped by so the food came out at a reasonable a time. Overall 3 stars. HUGE plus that they cater to GF and vegan/ vegetarians. But unfortunately the food was just ok. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back."
"I'll start by saying that I always try to patronize locally owned establishments, and I'll also say that I really wanted to love this place, but I am obligated to provide honesty about my experience. The place was about 75% full, which I thought was a pretty good sign! The person who took my order was low energy and in no hurry. I asked for the chicken sandwich without onions, but she said that they were pre-made (not made to order) and that I could scrape them off. I also ordered the fruit, but she said they were out. To finish my order, I got a large coffee that I later discovered was not hot. My order was to go, so I was unable to address any issues with the manager. I attached photos of my chicken sandwich, which really had a tiny bit of chicken and was below avg in taste. For the quality of food and the cost, I would have to say that I am not a fan of this place. Side note, I went during lunch, and it took about 20 minutes to get my food. Also, another patron told a staff member that she had been waiting 25 min for a juice drink that she ordered; she was told that it takes a while to get the fresh juice. I don't think I will return anytime soon."
