"Scam artist, if you have a newer car don’t go!!!! I went there because my 2 cylinder was misfiring. My car is 2022 and it only has 33k miles on it. There was water in the engine, and my spark plug wasnt bad. So his first thought was for me to change all 4 spark plugs, at that moment I knew i took my car to the wrong establishment. Its very easy to figure out if a spark plug has a leak in it, which would cause water to get in. I personally believe they were trying to take advantage of me because i was from out of town and i do not appreciate that. Then he said to changing the spark plugs might not work, it’s just something they wanted to try….. I understand fixing cars is trial and error ive fix all of my older cars but to not even truly go through the process of elimination and still charging me a 125 dollar diagnostic fee just to say you don’t know is outrageous. so long moral of the story they might be good with older cars i dont know but I do know they are not good with newer ones and that’s okay just thought id give other people a warning."

"Called to replace the spark plugs in a 2012 Nissan Murano (mind you, I've had them change before in this same suv). I was told by this shop $700+ dollars due 5 hours labor and $35 per spark plug. The previous time, I paid $460 and I was recently quoted $500 by Car Medic. Sandston Automotive is not reasonable just selective."
