"Best Mexican food I’ve had in Virginia!! We moved here from Southwest Detroit, Michigan for my husbands work and have not had good Mexican food since. That was about a year ago. I had the enchiladas suizas, my husband had the carnitas dinner and my sister in law the California burrito. I have NEVER cleaned my plate before. They were that good! And the service was amazing! The waiter was a Hispanic man, early 40’s with glasses. He was so nice! I was very pleased with his hospitality. We’re Hispanic so we know good Mexican food. And this was definitely good. We will definitely be returning soon! And taking any family members that visit us from out of town in the future. One thing I’ll say tho, the aqua de horchata is klass. Which I don’t mind but I did have a taste for the real stuff. Other than that I was very satisfied! Also we were starving so I didn’t get any pictures of the plates when they arrived. But I did get one once i already started eating. Also the decorations are absolutely beautiful!!"

"The renovations are niceeeee!!!! Food was good, drinks were wonderful. Highly recommend the strawberry mango margarita. Server: Manuel was super nice and even remember a friend’s order from the last time they dined in. Gave 4 stars because they charged me $2.25 for sour crème!!! They could’ve warned that there was an up charge to add sour crème w my meal."

"Ordered the street corn and burrito carnitas. First, the revamp at this locations looks amazing. Second, the food. The street corn was perfection. I LOVE carnitas. The burrito carnitas did not disappoint. Honesty, this is just a personal preference, they had too much meat. Haha."

"Our experience started out well, and then once the food arrived, it went downhill. I ordered the OMG Nachos. I don't know what you have come to expect for nachos, but for me, it's a pile of chips with the toppings. They brought me my plate. 9 chips total. 9! Each individually topped. It looked like an appetizer. And for 13.50 for the meal I was not impressed. I will say the flavor was great, but otherwise, it's not good. We mentioned it to the waitress, and instead of dealing with the problem, she never came back to the table and had another team member bring us our check - which hadn't yet asked for. It was not a good experience, and I will NOT be going back there."

"Plaza Azteca always delivers! Great food, service and atmosphere. This Midlothian Turnpike (near the mall) location is a nice diversion from the Westchester location, just for change! Same great place with a different vibe. Staff was awesome as usual and food was amazing."
