"The absolute worst sub I ever consumed from a Blimpie. First of all, it was housed in a dingy gas station and they make you pay in advance at the register before the order is placed. Secondly, I order a whole Blimpie Best with extra meat and there was nothing best about it. The bread tasted old and stale, the meat was sliced so thin you could see through it (definitely not extra meat), the two slices of cheese was pre-sliced and cut diagonally like Subway and they were so stingy with the toppings and condiments. The sandwich was so dry. Finally, the price point was outrageous. That mess costed nearly $20.00. No wonder Jersey Mike's is whipping Blimpie's and Subway's @ss. I grew up in NJ where Blimpie was king and the sandwiches were great. I can see why so many locations have closed. More will close if they continue to short change customers like this. Stay away....far far away!"
