"This thrift store use to be a fun place to shop with great prices. I stopped in between Christmas and new years and found some pyrex bowls that where priced like they should be at a thrift store. All between 3.99 and 6.99 "about $26 in total" Went to check out and was refused the sale by a wicked Thrift Witch named Kelly. Then she went on and accused me of swapping price tags. I left that day pretty heated. Fast forward 3 weeks. I stop in to find that the items I wanted where still on the shelf all marked up, putting them at over $120 in total. Every item in the store is priced as if it was an antique consignment store. I have since found out that this is standard operating procedure for Kelly. Hire and take advantage people in early recovery, overprice their donations that are given to them at no charge, and give very little back to the community with their so called "outreach program" . This place is corrupt and I recommend donating elsewhere. Thanks Kelly for ruining this place. I was a frequent customer for a few years...never again."
"Have Shopped Here For Years & Each Time A New Awesome Find! Management Staff Are Great Friendly People That Will Work With You. Always Deals Going On! Best Place To Shop For Holiday Decor Without The Big Box Prices! I Shop For Decor For Christmas & Halloween Every year!"
"It used to be okay when it first opened. Furniture was always laughably overpriced. Now everything is overpriced, they essentially just Google the prices of things and are trying to get EBay prices, you can tell. No feels to be had here most of the time and I often leave empty handed so I basically stopped going. They don’t seem to care if clothing shoes etc are dirty either so I don’t trust anything I can’t bleach & disinfect from here. Also note… It’s a religious store which is fine, but it’s definitely annoying for those who are not of the same belief but want to shop a thrift store because you WILL hear religious music the entire time without a break. Whenever I think of giving them another chance I drive to Richmond or Petersburg instead because I’ll have better luck and it won’t match eBay prices."
