"We’ve been to Japan multiple times and never imagined finding high quality, traditional sushi here in Richmond. Katana totally blew us away, with sushi rivaling what we’ve traveled to DC to get! The chu toro and salmon belly were fantastic and our server, Tugu (who took great care of us), shared that they receive shipments of fish from Japan 2x per week! With both incredible sushi and service, this place has easily made it into our top 10 fav restaurants in town."

"Amazing little sushi shop! Definitely worth a try if you love sushi or just about Japanese cuisine. I chose to try a different dish this time, the Spicy Chirashi, since it sounded pretty good. It was awesome, just about the right flavors with a beautiful spicy sauce to complement all the fish, rice and toppings. Will definitely be coming back!"

"Awesome sushi and a huge selection to choose from. I ordered a Poke bowl with a choice of raw salmon or tuna...or you could get a combo of both. It was served with rice, avocado , and many other ingredients. Also served with a delicious soup and salad. My son ordered green tea and a variety of sushi! Everything was extremely fresh and delicious...too much to eat for one meal, so took half of mine home to enjoy for dinner! Will definitely go back again!"
