"Unprofessional, uninformed unresponsive and basically have no clue of what's going on. That was my experience. I contacted the manager and left a message that I was very dissatisfied. Evidently my phone call and my message went in the trash. Be very aware of who works on your computer. They took the virus protection off along with several programs that I use for work. These guys have no clue. Just had to edit this because I forgot to say they cracked the charging port."
"It wasn't good at all. The laptop I purchased was returned. They were supposed to transfer info from old to the new one. However, it was transferred under another email address. I returned and still got the run around. Jaw, jaw, jaw was all I got when I tried to straighten it out. You never know which Geek Squad member you'll get. Some are more knowledgeable than others."
"Just needed to check on an imac repair-which, sadly, best buy is only certified for mobile apple repair. But Adonis went above and beyond and recommended a couple local apple certified places and what information to bring them. Very helpful! And everyone was very attentive! A good squad."
"I had an issue with my iPhone and I booked an appointment with this Geek Squad through Apple support. Took a month to resolve and was quite frustrating, but everything negative about the situation was caused by Apple and Best Buy policy. I am reviewing this Geek Squad location, specifically Jeff H, who was consistently professional and obviously knowledgeable. Jeff was great and deserving of 5 stars. Apple is a PITA as a company which shouldn't be news to anyone, and I do definitely agree with other reviewers here about Best Buy's recent change to their call center policy - it is not possible to contact the store by phone, you can only work with a remote call center person who can see ticket notes but has no knowledge of the case beyond that. If you need something, just book a time in advance and go out there, this team will take care of you."
"Dropped my phone off at 12pm on Wednesday and was told it wouldn’t take more than a few hours. The initial employee I gave my phone to for repair was super helpful, polite, and professional. My quarrel lies with the rest of their customer service team and absolute lack of communication moving forward. I was assured that someone “would be in touch” and the phone wouldn’t take longer than a few hours. Thinking that a 4 hour window was probably sufficient- I Go to pick it up at 4pm same day and the phone “isn’t ready”. Store closes at 7. Called Best Buy repeatedly until 7pm and was told by rude customer service reps that they were unable to put me in touch with a real person at the location where my phone was being worked on. Continued to hear nothing from Best Buy and 7:00 finally rolled around. So Best Buy geek squad just kept my phone overnight with absolutely no communication??? It is now Thursday morning and I’ve called Best Buy twice and gotten two more SUPER RUDE employees from their generic hotline refusing to connect me with a real person at the location which has my phone, stating that the phone “still isn’t ready” and offering no remedy to the lack of communication from the location, and STILL don’t have my phone. Terrible terrible terrible- just go straight to the apple store if you need a Genius Bar appointment."
