The Broiler

"Grew up eating at this place. It is one of my favorite places to eat, especially when I have a taste for a steak-n-cheese and pizza. Update 2/18/2023 Visited for dinner. I ordered a small pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and onions, a mushroom, steak, and cheese, with mayonnaise, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, a meatball sub, and regular fries. The pizza and steak and cheese were good as usual. The fries were cooked a little too hard. I thought I would try something different, so I ordered the meatball sub. I was so disappointed, and I will not be ordering it again. The meatballs were not good even though they were a nice size, they were dry and did not have a good taste, there was not enough sauce or cheese on the sub. I had to ask for extra sauce on the side. I think if they could moisten the meatballs and add some Italian flavor, like basil, oregano, and garlic, they would be really good, oh of course, more sauce and cheese. 12/30/23 The order was a chicken, cheese, medium sub with mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and onions. A small pepperoni, sausage, onion pizza. A medium mushroom steak and cheese with onions mayonnaise and tomatoes. 1 order of fries, and 3 medium fruit punch lemonade mixes. The pepperoni pizza was ok. The pizza is no way as good as it used to be back in the day. I think they changed the sausage and pepperoni. The steak cheese is still really good."

"This place is a hidden treasure for cheese steak sandwiches. The day started visiting Arlington National Cemetery and worked up a ferocious appetite. Hit up old Google reviews and found The Broiler. We ordered it up the chicken cheesesteak and a spicy steak cheese steak and we got a sausage pizza to try. I could not eat that chicken cheesesteak fast enough it was so delicious my wife was so nice to share her spicy steak cheese steak with me that too was delicious. Now the pizza had a different crust than I am used to. It was more like a thin crust. The toppings and pizza sauce for 10 out of 10 the crust was a 6 out of 10. I am definitely recommending this for cheese steaks those memorable Taste of great and will definitely visit on my return to DC."

"So I will alter the route home on Fridays to swing by The Broiler and grab subs and burgers for the crew to enjoy while have some adult beverages. Aside from the food, the atmosphere and staff are so chill. I honestly haven't had a sandwich from here that wasn't really really good and packed with meat."
