Reviews of The Salt Line
"Normally I hate restaurant week but for 55 bucks, you can get the crab dip, the lobster roll, and a huge sundae. Not bad. Draft beer is six bucks. Coffee served in diner mugs for four bucks. Belly clams are not juicy like in Maine but they will do. Place is large and the service is nice if you have Luis. I’m sure the others are nice too. Go early. They are open all day. The platters are enormous and enough for two."
"I came here twice, once I sat at the bar outside for happy hour and the second time I came for brunch on Sunday. The restaurant has plenty of seating outdoors and indoors and also space where you can see the kitchen. Each time I went the staff have been very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed their happy hour a lot more than brunch. At happy hour, I got the hamachi crudo, clam chowder, oysters and lobster roll. The happy hour price just made it more reasonable. For brunch, I got the clam chowder, crab omelette and espresso martini. I enjoyed the espresso martini. The crab omelette was a bit disappointing and the clam chowder tasted a bit watered down for me. Parking is also difficult in this area and you have to pay for parking."
"The Salt Line was, hands down, one of the best seafood restaurants that we have visited. We went for the oysters, but were pleasantly surprised by how good everything else was as well. We had a couple of desserts afterwards and they were just as good as the oysters! We will definitely be going back and will recommend it to anyone we know traveling in the area!"
"I celebrated valentines and my husbands birthday here, and it was amazing! Our server, Jon, was attentive, made great recommendations, and was fun to talk with! The valentines special gnocchi was absolutely delicious! The oysters were fresh and tasty. Portions are not huge, but I'm not mad about it since we got to try a variety of dishes without feeling over stuffed. Drinks were also very tasty, especially the passion paloma."
