Mellow Mushroom Short Pump

"We were seated right away and ordered our food quickly as we remember the pizza taking awhile in the past. Unfortunately after 40 minutes our food was still not out. We had to get our food to go and just received a simple “sorry”. The crust is not what I remember- tasted burnt and dry and plain. Not the honey wheat we are familiar with at mellow. Have had much better pizza elsewhere with way better service and wait time. We will not be returning. And do not recommend, especially with kids due to the long food wait times."

"We ordered for pickup for our family dinner. A vegan pizza, cheese bread, and 2 subs. We paid extra for chips but once we got home realized the chips were not in the bag. It was new years eve and they were about to close so I waited and called the next morning. I spoke with a manager who was very nice and he put a refund in for the items we did not receive. All of our other food was really tasty."

"So glad we happened upon this Mellow Mushroom in Short Pump. The customer service was great from the greeting to dessert. We loved the light of the open floor plan. You have to try the Esperanza dressing on a salad and the House Specialty pizza was the best! The key lime ice cream sandwich was the grand finale."

"For a chain restaurant this place is above average. The food was decent. Personally, I thought my son’s pizza was a little on the bland side, but still good. The vegan sub I got was also good. Not great, but worth the price. The atmosphere was nice, and the server was INCREDIBLY friendly, like one of those guys who seemed like he actually loved his job. I know servers, and their job can be thankless, so any server who puts the extra effort into being polite and friendly always gets extra points in my book, as well as a better than average tip. I will definitely be going there again."
