"Had chocolate ice cream with waffle cone at Kilwins. It had deep rich chocolate flavor and the waffle cone was warm. Even with the quality it was quite pricey. There is one gelato place nearby with better flavor and reasonable price but it closes early unfortunately. Anyway, I recommend Kilwins for chocolates and to visit in evening since it opens till late."

"One of the many cute little shops in old town Alexandria. Long line but moves fairly fast. The hardest decision you will have to make is choosing what to eat first. So good! Don’t plan on visiting while on a budget, but is anything budget friendly these days?"

"Wow! I forgot the chocolate and fudge when I saw a chocolate shake and fell in love - best shake in the DC area. If that's the kind of quality they put into their ice cream, the fudge and caramels will be extraordinary. You can even watch them prepare those delicacies right in front of you; they do it with care. Definitely coming back!"

"We are big fans of the chain, whether in Alabama or DC area and stopped here after a meal at a nearby place after visiting the nearby Mount Vernon. Although it was a cold day, we had some great icecreams and of course some more sweets. Very friendly lady server and great shop layout."

"Lovely dessert place in the town. A huge variety of ice cream and chocolates. Very unique and delicious. I tried their Almond crunch bar recommended by the staff and I am a big fan now. Also, potomac mud river ice cream is worth trying, loved it. Do not even get me started about the Sea salt caramels. It’s so difficult to control once you are in. Must visit store especially for all the tourists, you won’t be disappointed."
