"We moved here from Ocean City, Maryland two years ago. The home of Philly cheese steaks and boardwalk fries. We have been unable to find a decent Philly cheese steak anywhere in East Tennessee. This place has the absolute best Philly cheese steak and boardwalk fries in the area. It's by far the most authentic. The hogie roll is where most places fall way short. This place has 100% authentic kaiser sub rolls. If you're from up north this is the place to get that slice of home."

"Today was my first time visiting carnival Cafe I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries the Philly cheese steak was not good it was like eating ground hamburger meat on a bun I did not see no onion or green pepper on my sandwich I only ate half. The fresh cut french fries were good. My bill came to $16.00. Service was extremely slow while standing there waiting for my order,I looked across the counter where the drinks were. There is a table, under that table you could see the floor was absolutely disgusting looks like it hasn't been washed in a year."

"This place needs a good cleaning, staff that actually speaks to the customers, fresh oil for their funnel cakes and lastly...fresh funnel cakes. Ours seemed to have been reheated by just dropping it in oil. That was the only reason we went so it was a huge disappointment."

"I have tried this place before but recently revisited it with my puppy and some friends. THEY LOVE DOGS!!! Which is such a pleasant experience compared to the way I've been treated before over my ESA. They were so accommodating and the food was finished fast. I got the chicken cheestake with fries (always get the sidewinder fries) and a big fat coke. It was soooo good. They even cooked my little puppy a hot dog and brought it out to him. He was sitting in his car seat on the bench and they didn't mind. I will absolutely be returning. Amazing experience. If you take your dog with you I highly recommend sitting out at their picnic table. They have it set up to be in the shade which I appreciated."
